UNESCO Associated Schools celebrate many of the United Nations' International Days related to UNESCO's mandate. International Days are a good entry point for teaching and learning about UNESCO values and priorities. Schools thereby strengthen the awareness of their teachers and students about significant global issues and reach out to their communities.
