At the request of a number of Members of the World Heritage Committee, an Orientation Session for members of the Committee is organized early in the year to allow for better preparations for the Committee session.

This session is organized notably for new Committee members and is held in addition to the one which traditionally takes place the day before the opening of the ordinary session of the World Heritage Committee. Interpretation in English and French will be provided.
