On 3 September 2020, the World Heritage Centre will host an online information session with the UNESCO Field Offices, Category 2 Centres, and Advisory Bodies in the Asia and the Pacific Region for the Third Cycle of Periodic Reporting.

This information session aims to ensure all stakeholders have access to the resources necessary to facilitate this States Parties-driven exercise.

The Third Cycle of Periodic Reporting in Asia and the Pacific will be launched officially in late September.

Periodic Reporting is one of the core conservation monitoring mechanisms of the World Heritage Convention. Every six years, the States Parties are invited to submit to the World Heritage Committee a Periodic Report on the application of the World Heritage Convention in their territory.
