CANCELLED - UNESCO Global Conference: “Gender Equality and the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence: What solutions from the private sector?" – 7 March 2020

CANCELLATION

Dear Colleagues,

With the number of detected coronavirus (covid-19) cases continuing to grow, including in France, the UNESCO management has been monitoring the outbreak and has also been following the United Nations and host country responses and guidance towards minimizing the virus spread and its impact.

Your health is the highest priority for us. In the current circumstances, I regret very much to inform you that, as a precautionary measure, the Global Conference on “Gender Equality and the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence: What solutions from the private sector?” scheduled for 7 March 2020 at UNESCO in Paris, France is cancelled.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation will cause and look forward to continue actively working with you to promote gender equality.
