The book 'Patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO : les sites marocains' ('UNESCO World Heritage: the Moroccan sites') is a voyage to an exceptional part of Moroccan heritage. Ancient traces, fairytale wanderings, exquisite landscapes: writer-photographer Jean-Jacques Gelbart has captured Morocco's most incredible sites through the lens of his camera.

Eight writers have added prose to his images to introduce the sites, including the particular attachments connecting them to each place.

This work inspires the discovery and preservation of the natural beauty of these listed sites, as well as the history they embody.

Intended to widely introduce Moroccan heritage among readers, this publication was published with the support of the Ministry for Culture, Maroc Telecom, CCME, RMA Watanya, and the CDG Foundation.

In 2008, Editions Gelbart paid homage to the 33 French sites inscribed on the World Heritage List with the book 'Patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, les Sites français' (UNESCO World Heritage: the French sites). The book, which presents the 33 French sites through 500 photographs by Jean-Jacques Gelbart and text by Jacques Pierron, has just been reprinted.
