Querétaro launches ALTOPARLANTE - An International Digital Poster Call

Querétaro launches ALTOPARLANTE - An International Digital Poster Call

When:
Mon, 04/27/2020 to Wed, 05/20/2020

Querétaro, a UNESCO Creative City of Design in Mexico, launched a Call for the first edition of ALTOPARLANTE, an international digital poster project, to celebrate the World Design Day (April 27).

With the premise ‘Creative Evolution’, the Call invites designers, artists and creative assets from the Creative Cities and beyond, to create posters with positive messages for fostering collective and diverse wellbeing. Facing the current ongoing challenge, the digital contest allows participants to share artistically their own vision of their local culture, representation, and the creative evolution needed for the society.

All posters will be widely disseminated online, while top 100 selected ones will be used for the creation of the digital publication, ALTOPARLANTE compendium, to be published on World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development (May 21). Both ALTOPARLANTE pieces and compendium will be available free-of-charge and can be downloaded to further spread the message of hope and inspire as many people as possible.

Interested individuals are encouraged to participate and submit their creative works latest by 20 May 2020, 23:59 hrs (Santiago de Queretaro, Qro. Time Zone GMT-5).
