Junior Professional Officer

Francesca joined the Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report Team as Junior Professional Officer (JPO), financed by her country, Italy. Prior to starting at UNESCO, she has worked in research roles in the area of adult education and social innovation policy in Germany and Brussels. In particular, in the past two years, she has investigated education policies and practices targeted at young adults in vulnerable situations within a European research project at the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association. Francesca also contributes to the GEM experience in monitoring gained at the European Food Safety Authority.
