Given the exceptional situation with the spread of the​ Covid-19 virus​, the closing date for submission of candidatures for the call for nominations UNESCO World Book Capital 2022 has been postponed to Friday 14 August 2020.

All applications had to be submitted by email to wbcc@unesco.org, using the 2022 Application Form available below, and have to be received by UNESCO no later than Friday, 14 August 2020.
