Launch of the first album of the blind musician band “Les Trois leaders” in Brazzaville.

Launch of the first album of the blind musician band “Les Trois leaders” in Brazzaville.

When:
Thu, 04/30/2015
On the occasion of the 4th edition of the International Jazz Day in the Republic of Congo, and with the support of UNESCO Brazzaville Office, the City of Brazzaville launched the first album from the blind musician band "Les Trois leaders" on 30 April 2015.

In collaboration with the emblematic Congolese Jazz group, “Congo Ndule Jazz”, composed of professional musicians, "Les Trois leaders" performed a concert at the event. Through their song full of emotion entitled "La paix” (“Peace"), the blind musicians exhort the Congolese and African people to unity, nonviolence and respect for human dignity.

Since its appointment as a UNESCO City of Music in 2013, Brazzaville supports initiatives promoting the music industry and artistic creativity under the label “Brazzaville, ville de musique” ("Brazzaville, city of music”).
