La tradición del teatro bailado Rabinal Achí (Guatemala)
Título EN: The Rabinal Achí dance drama is a play with musical and dance interludes based on myths about political conflicts between two Maya groups. The characteristics of the text and versification are evidence of a sophisticated pre-Hispanic Amerindian literary style.
Título FR: Le Rabinal Achí est une représentation théâtrale jalonnée d’interludes musicaux dansés, fondée sur des mythes relatant un conflit politique entre deux groupes mayas. Ces vers élaborés témoignent de l’existence d’une littérature préhispanique sophistiquée.
Título ES: El teatro bailado Rabinal Achí es un espectáculo de teatro puntuado con interludios de música y danza e inspirado en mitos que evocan los conflictos políticos entre dos pueblos mayas. Las características del texto y la versificación atestiguan el sofisticado estilo literario de la tradición amerindia prehispánica.
