Laura Stipanovic

Research consultant

Laura joined the GEM Report in 2018 as a research consultant working on inclusion in education in Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this, she worked at the OECD Development Centre and with the Permanent Mission of Colombia to the United Nations in Geneva on topics related to migration, human rights and philanthropy for development. Laura first joined UNESCO in 2015. She has worked as a consultant on education, inclusion and rights, and communication working on research, project management and events organization. She worked with the GEM Report as a communications and research consultant back in 2015.

Laura holds a Research Master on Political Studies from l’École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris and a Bachelor on Political Science and History from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota. She attended the Washington Semester Program from the American University in Washington DC where she specialized in Conflict Resolution and did field research in Jordan, Cyprus, Greece and Turkey.
