Duodécima sesión del Comité Intergubernamental

Sede de la UNESCO | 11 – 14 diciembre 2018 | Sala II

El Comité Intergubernamental de la Convención de 2005 para la Protección y Promoción de la Diversidad de las Expresiones Culturales se reunirá en la sede de la UNESCO del 11 al 14 de diciembre de 2018 en la Sala II.

En su 12º sesión, el Comité adoptará revisiones de las directivas operacionales relativas al Artículo 9 (“Intercambio de información y transparencia”), incluido el marco de los informes periódicos cuatrienales. El propósito de esta revisión será de armonizar el marco de los informes periódicos con el marco de monitoreo de la Convención de 2005. El Comité también aprobará una hoja de ruta para implementar las directivas operacionales relativas a la Convención en el entorno digital y los nuevos proyectos que se financiarán por el Fondo Internacional para la Diversidad Cultural (FIDC). El Comité discutirá también una estrategia de difusión para movilizar las partes interesadas de la Convención de 2005 y finalizará su informe de actividades que se presentará en el séptimo sesión de la Conferencia de las Partes.

Se lanzará una nueva serie de conversaciones públicas titulada Create | 2030 en el marco del Comité para alinear sus debates con la Agenda 2030 sobre los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. Este año se organizan cuatro sesiones Create | 2030:

  • ODS 5: “You Are Next. Empoderar a las mujeres en las artes digitales.” (11 de diciembre, 3 pm)
  • ODS 8: “Inteligencia artificial: un nuevo entorno de trabajo para los creadores” (13 de diciembre, 10 a.m.)
  • ODS 16: “¿Qué es para ti la libertad artística?” (13 de diciembre, 3pm)
  • ODS 17: “La sociedad civil: un socio para el cambio en la gobernanza de la cultura” (14 de diciembre, 10 a.m.)
