Introduction

This unit explores the questions: Can ICT make teachers more effective administrators? Is ICT an asset to the teaching and learning process? What can I do to support teachers' learning with ICT?

Unit 2 Learning Outcomes

By the end of the unit, you will be able to:

•  Identify typical teacher ICT integration competencies

•  Identify teacher technology adoption stages

•  Recognize professional development opportunities for teachers

•  Evaluate the role of ICT in supporting teachers as administrators

•  Evaluate the role of ICT in enhancing teaching and learning

•  Understand the roles of teachers and learners learning with ICT
