Dr. Yumiko Yokozeki, Director of IICBA met GEIDCO together with Ms. Jingxin Bao, Chinese intern.

GEIDCO is an international organization headquartered in Beijing, composed of willing firms, associations, institutions and individuals who are dedicated to promoting the sustainable development of energy worldwide. The purpose of GEIDCO is to promote the establishment of a GEI system, to meet the global demand for electricity in a clean and green way, and to serve the sustainable development of humanity. This meets the strategic framework of Africa Agenda 2063.

Clean and sustainable energy is vital for every sector in society. This is especially crucial for education in Africa. GEIDCO wishes to support clean energy to institutes with severe electricity problems in African countries, while the maintenance and sustainability of the solar power system requires capacity building and generating activities.

IICBA has devoted itself to teacher development, through which the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals is promoted. It is important to transfer the mindset of clean and green energy among teachers and students, and to reach their communities. IICBA and GEIDCO believe that this cooperation will benefit individuals and communities in both short term and long term, which will contribute to electricity supply, education, youth employment and ultimately to a sustainable development society.
