The UIS and partners are currently collecting data for the Survey of National Education Responses to the COVID-19 School Closures and the Survey to Monitoring Impact on Main Education Data Aggregates (MIMEA) until 31 March 2021 (submission deadline has been extended).
International Day of Education
The UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) and the Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report co-hosted a high-level policy dialogue with education leads of regional organizations to mark the 3rd International Day of Education on 24 January 2021. The event focused on two key developments for monitoring progress towards SDG 4, the global education goal, from a quantitative and a qualitative perspective.
