‘Share Happiness, Share your Happy School Activity!’

‘Share Happiness, Share your Happy School Activity!’

With 50-plus entries from across the Asia-Pacific – spanning Fiji in the east to Pakistan in the west – the Happy Schools Project at UNESCO Bangkok celebrates the International Day of Happiness 2019 with the “Share Happiness, Share your Happy School Activity!” campaign. This year, the campaign captures school activities that highlight the Happy Schools Framework and promote happiness and well-being.

Hall of Happiness

Several of the submissions stood out based on the photo quality, description of activities and relevance to the Happy Schools Framework. These submissions have been placed in our “Hall of Happiness”, which you can see below. We hope that highlighting these activities contributes to building a broad community of school education practitioners striving to create Happy Schools.

The Happy Schools Project at UNESCO Bangkok is grateful to receive support from teachers, students, parents and the public for this year’s International Day of Happiness. We believe that sharing the voices of learners and educators regarding their happiness and well-being at schools is the key to quality education in the Asia-Pacific.

The Happy Schools Project is always pleased to hear about promising school and classroom activities that embrace student-centered learning, holistic development and well-being. Please feel free to reach out and share more stories and activities.
