High-level online ministerial event “One year into COVID: Prioritizing education recovery to avoid a generational catastrophe”

UNESCO is pleased to invite you to the high-level online ministerial event entitled “One year into COVID: Prioritizing education recovery to avoid a generational catastrophe”. The event will be held on 29 March 2021, at 2:00 PM-4:00 PM (Paris Time) via Zoom.

UNESCO will convene a high-level ministerial event to take stock of lessons learnt, the greatest risks facing education today and strategies to leave no learner behind. It will provide a platform for policy dialogue to examine the most pressing current challenges and will show how the Global Education Coalition has mobilized partners to support learners, teachers and policymakers with new tools and knowledge.

The online event will be organized around three parallel sessions focusing on school reopening; learning losses and digital transformation.

Participants will be Ministers of Education, high-level representatives of partners within the Global Education Coalition and of sister agencies. The event will be held in English and French with simultaneous translation. To participate in the event, please register using the following link.
