The A-Cappella-Week of Hannover is a well-known event which offers the opportunity to local and international ensembles of singers to perform in the suggestive environment of the German Creative City of Music.

The city actively supports and promotes international cultural exchanges in the field of music. In this aim, the event help to understand and promote different interpretations of a-cappella music.

This year, the city will include two performances from the Creative City of Bologna, launching the first cooperation within the UCCN related to this specific genre.

As special guests, the nine singers of the "Blue Penguin" group from Bologna will be performing.

The musicians of Bologna will have the possibility to meet the artists from Hannover; share experiences and build new relationship based each city’s music tradition, history and values.
