Re-thinking the city and the “common place” in Fabriano

From 28 to 30 October, the Creative City of Fabriano in cooperation with the Foundation Aristide Merloni, organize a series of meetings on the theme of the “common place”. The event will focus on transversal approaches associating philosophy, literature, media arts and music to further discuss and re-think the concept of city.

In the programme, a round table of regional Universities’ Chancellors will aim to identify and launch new scientific collaborations, innovative researches and projects, to be presented at the XI UCCN Annual Meeting in 2017 hosted by Enghien-les-Bains, France. In addition, during a 24-hour marathon “Hackreativity” digital technologies’ talents and entrepreneurs will together develop a web application enabling to maximize growth of the territory.

A meeting on 29 October will gather several Creative Cities, and will notably count on the presence of the Mayor of Heidelberg (Germany), the Mayor of Galway (Ireland), representatives of Bologna (Music), Roma (Film), Turin (Design) and Parma (Gastronomy), as well as Matera of European Capital of Culture 2019.
