E-Conference: Innovations in TVET for Global Impact
How to make TVET systems more resilient and sustainable? What are the latest innovations and trends in the different TVET sectors? IVETA East and West Africa and the University of Nigeria Nsukka UNEVOC Centre invite you to discuss these topics during a two-day e-conference organized on July 1 and 2.
Context:
The migration of TVET from a second to a first class education needs to be sustained by delivering skills, knowledge and competence that makes a difference and serve global purposes. The right skills for the right roles, for employment and self-reliance should be ensured. Creation of a workforce with high productivity and competitiveness in the global economy is paramount.
Organized over two days, this e-conference will bring together participants and speakers from public and private sector, international organizations etc. to broadly discuss innovative practices, approaches and latest policies on TVET sectors, with a special focus on African countries.
Participation:
To animate this conference, participants who wish to present papers at the conference are invited to submit an abstract of not more than 250 words to any of the following Conference email addresses: iveta.unevocunn@gmail.com OR iveta.unevoc@unn.edu.ng.
Abstracts must be submitted on or before 20th June, 2021. Authors of accepted abstracts should submit soft copies of full papers of not more than 12 A4 pages(Font 12, Times New Roman, Double line spacing) via the Conference email addresses by 29th June, 2021.
Publication:
Accepted papers for presentation will be published in the electronic conference proceedings. Well research papers will undergo a peer review process and if successful, will be published in the Journal of TVET Transformations (JTT), University of Nigeria, Nsukka UNEVOC centre.
