UNESCO and UNV Will Host An Online Meeting for Youth

1 June 2021

On 18 June, 2021 at 15:00 (Nur-Sultan time) UNESCO and UNV will hold an online meeting for young people from Central Asia to empower them within the framework of the UN Volunteers Program mission.

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) program contributes to peace and development through volunteering around the world. UNV works with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated and well-supported UN Volunteers into development programs and to promote the value and worldwide acceptance of volunteering. UNV mobilizes volunteers to work with UN agencies, both in development programs and in peacekeeping operations.

The National Volunteer Network of Kazakhstan will also provide information on opportunities to participate in volunteer programs, which will allow Kazakhstani youth to become more active citizens of their country.
