BLANDINE LEDOUX

Education sector analysis, Costs and financing, Statistics, economy of education

Blandine Ledoux joined IIEP’s technical assistance team in January 2018 to lead the cluster on Costs and Financing. Blandine started her career at the Pôle de Dakar IIEP/UNESCO where she was supporting Ministries of education in Africa in the preparation of education sector analyses and the development of costing models. She was also co-facilitating the Pôle’s annual e-learning training on sectoral analysis and management of education system. Blandine also worked for the French Development Agency as a Project Manager and for the secretariat of the Global Partnership for Education where she was advising countries on sector planning and monitoring, sector dialogue as well as on GPE grant procedures and standards.

Before joining IIEP, Blandine was working for UNICEF as education economist. She was supporting evidence-based planning processes and the development of feedback tools to improve education system management and enhance social accountability through community participation.

Education

  • Engineering Degree in Statistics and Economics from the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique (ENSAE) in Paris.
