Ms Michelle //Inixas is a National Arts & Crafts Coordinator at COSDEF Arts & Crafts Centre, based in Swakopmund, Namibia. She has been centre manager for nine years and they presently offer five courses in jewelry design and manufacturing, leather craft and design, fashion design and accessories, visual arts, craft and design and graphic design. In April 2020, the Centre gained accreditation from the Namibian Qualifications Authority. Ms //Inixas is also the overall coordinator for the OYETU Creative Craft Training and Mentorship Project, funded by Bread for the World, which trains technical craft, business and life skills to outreach communities all over Namibia. Presently, they have twelve craft groups in seven regions involved in product development, costing, pricing and business management. She is a visual artist and in her second year of a Diploma in Vocational Training Management through NUST. Ms //Inixas also studied textile design in Cape Town, South Africa, and owned a tourism activity company specializing in township tours and sandboarding.
