Mr Senior is a Director of Andrew Senior Associates Ltd, a specialist creative economy agency. A lawyer by profession, he is recognised as an international expert in the creative economy, with a particular emphasis on policy making and creative entrepreneurship. Mr Senior notably established and led the strategic development of the Creative Economy programme of the British Council from 1999 to 2010, developing its support for mapping and policy development and its work with creative entrepreneurs, including the ground-breaking Young Creative Entrepreneur awards. He has extensive experience in a range of emerging economies in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America, working with national, state and city governments, sector agencies, artists, creative businesses and civil society. He works across the creative and cultural industries, seeding innovative cross-sectoral responses and relationships. He has a wealth of experience on policy issues including copyright, cultural diversity, cultural relations, business support and development, entrepreneurship, and training and investment.
