The Faculty of Education is on the Qwaqwa Campus, a rural campus of the University of the Free State. The University embraces diversity and meets the needs of new South Africa. Dr. Hlalele and his colleagues have been working hard to make the teaching profession attractive to students. As a result, the number of young people opting to be teachers has increased and there are currently around 1,600 students in the Faculty of Education. Over 95% of them are employed as teachers after graduation.
