On the occasion of the International Music Festival of Awyar, Sanandaj (Iran), a UNESCO Creative City of Music, is launching a Call for international soloists and artists to promote quality music and cross-cultural communication.

From 28 to 30 October, the musicians selected by the Scientific and Artistic committee will participate online in the first period of the festival. This event, intended to be held seasonally, is organized in collaboration with the Sanandaj Music Association, the University of Kurdistan, Knowledge Development Institute, and Kurdistan Islamic Culture and Guidance Office.

Recognizing the value of music as a universal language, through the festival Sanandaj aims to promote and emphasize the exchange of knowledge between the Iranian and international soloists, in order to share the essence of folk and classical music, and to present new approaches in the field of solo art.

Those interested in participating have time until 22 September to submit all the required documentation.
