On 8 and 9 July 2021 (Part I) and on 9 and 10 September 2021 (Part II), States Parties to the 2003 Convention and observers will be invited to participate in an Open-ended intergovernmental working group in the framework of the global reflection on the listing mechanisms of the 2003 Convention.

Morning sessions will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and the afternoon sessions will be held from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Given the ongoing restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Part I of the working group is taking place fully online. The debates can be followed live in the original language with interpretation in English and in French. Recordings will gradually be made available on the same page.

Participants wishing to take the floor (‘Active participation’) have to be connected to Zoom platform, with limitations due to technical constraints (two simultaneous connections per State Party; one per State not Party; one per member of the NGO Steering Committee; one per Category 2 Center; other active connections to accredited NGOs subject to availability). Please register online, requesting an active participation, so that the Secretariat can ensure you receive a Zoom invitation. In case of urgency, please contact ICHmeetings@unesco.org or, during the session, our help desk (Mr Marcos Van Der Valk Tavera, m.van-der-valk-taver@unesco.org, +33 (0)1 45 68 50 50).

For Part I, there will be four sessions of 90 minutes each day (UTC+2 / Paris time): the morning sessions will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and the afternoon sessions will be held from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.
