Sixteenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage
The sixteenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage will be hosted in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 13 to 18 December 2021.
Mr Punchi Nilame Meegaswatte, Secretary-General - Sri Lanka National Commission for UNESCO, will chair this annual gathering which brings together more than 800 participants – representatives of States Parties, non-governmental organizations, cultural institutions and other stakeholders – from across the globe.
As the start of the meeting is fast approaching, those participants who are not yet registered are invited to do so as soon as possible and before 30 November 2021.
The documents of the meeting will be published on this webpage by 15 November 2021.
