World Press Freedom Day 2019

JOIN THE GOVERNMENT OF ETHIOPIA, AFRICAN UNION & UNESCO TO CELEBRATE PRESS FREEDOM!

The 2019 global conference is Jointly organised by UNESCO, the African Union and the Government of Ethiopia under the theme ‘Media for Democracy: Journalism and Elections in Times of Disinformation’ . This event will take place at the African Union Commission HQ in Addis Ababa. The Addis Global conference is expected to bring together around 1000 high level representation from Senior Government Officials and other global, regional  and national media stakeholders, including national and international NGOs, journalists from across the globe, researchers and journalism students.
