About the project:

The Cultural Development Foundation (CDF) aims to support an indigenous cultural industry, the steel pan music art, by training school-age youth from marginalized communities to enable them to later earn a living. At the end of the training period, a Grand Steel Pan Festival will be organized to serve as an avenue for the young participants to showcase their acquired skills and to promote public awareness of this art form. 

Results:

Trained over 200 first-time steel pan players in Saint Lucia.
