Our Young Leaders
Discover the Young Leaders that are participating in the Biennale of Luanda 2021!
Over a hundred young leaders responded to UNESCO's call for nominations in June 2021. These young people come from Africa and its many diasporas and are leaders in their communities. They will participate in the Biennale of Luanda 2021 as part of the Intergenerational Dialogue. These youth will organise their discussion in person and online around the central theme: “Cultural and Heritage Diversity of Africa and its Diasporas: Fires of Conflict or Ground of Peace?” which is itself divided into 4 themes and 10 sub-themes.
Benjamin Britwum is the current Chief Executive Officer of Trace Afrique company Ltd., which is a social media platform that helps Africans to tell their story their own way. He has over two years of leadership experience in leading Startups, holding a background in business and web development. For the future, he seeks to improve his leadership skills in order to best serve Africa.

Deborah Basa is a filmmaker at Bimpa Production. They started with a short film, Mbote, in 2013, when they formed Bimpa Production. From there, they organised the "Fickin' Film Festival".
