Mon, 03/08/2021

Seoul (Republic of Korea), a UNESCO Creative City of Design since 2010, will organize the second edition of the Human City Design Award Ceremony and Conference on March 8, 2021.

Organized in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Design Foundation, the competition provides designers a platform to design sustainable city ecosystems reflecting a harmonious relationship between humans and the environment. Using innovative visions and creative design, the competition further aims to tackle urban environmental issues as well as support joint prosperity, sustainability and well-being of cultural communities.

In line with its commitment to the objectives of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, Seoul continues to exemplify the importance of symbiotic co-existence of humans and nature to build a sustainable urban life.

The Human City Design Award Ceremony will be broadcasted live on YouTube, in the presence of the 10 finalists and their respective country Ambassadors.
