The theme of this first edition, entitled “SEOUL HAEMONG”, enabled to show visual content of the history of Seoul and Dongdaemun (East gate of the old city of Seoul), as well as of its present and future. Leading the artistic project, Refik Anadol, the World’s renowned media designer from Turkey. Pictures of Seoul and Dongdaemun showing their history and photos taken by citizens were collected, interpreted and re-combined by AI and machine learning into lights and images.
