Seeking for Associate Project Officer in Knowledge Management

For the ongoing development of the Knowledge Management System of the 2005 Convention, UNESCO is looking for an Associate Project Officer - KMS to join the Secretariat of the 2005 UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (“the 2005 Convention”) .

The Section of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions has developed a Knowledge Management System (KMS) in order to facilitate the sharing of good practices and knowledge and the collection, organization and visualization of complex data through different web services available with different level of permissions, to all relevant stakeholders and to the public.

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the overall improvement of the 2005 Convention’s Knowledge Management System (KMS). The main responsibility will be to support the programming relating to the development/improvement of new and existing features (Drupal 7 front-end and back-end implementations), and the monitoring of the use and good functioning of the KMS platform.
