Discovering ETICO

The ETICO portal is an IIEP-UNESCO web-based platform that provides tools, information and resources to policymakers and education stakeholders who are looking to address the issue of corruption in the education sector and create more ethical societies by promoting transparency and accountability.

The ETICO portal is a web-based platform that regroups and disseminates all the latest information and resources on ethics and corruption in education from IIEP-UNESCO, as well as from a range of partners and stakeholders active in this field.

Visitors to the ETICO platform will find:

  • Tools: including a glossary of terms; practical guidelines for governments and educations stakeholders looking to design or implement open school data policies; and world maps where users can find examples of codes of conduct, ETICO training courses or statistics on corruption.
  • Knowledge: the ETICO platform is a trove of information for researchers and experts working in the area of corruption in education. Along the thematic pages giving more information on IIEPs research, visitors can also explore the Library, with more than 800 references on publications, projects, policies and norms; a selection of over 1,500 articles on corruption in education reported in the media; and IIEP’s full list of publications from its programme on Ethics and Corruption.
  • Information exchange: discover the ETICO blog, which offers a space for the global anti-corruption community to publish and discuss new ideas, as well as information on how to sign up to our bulletin, or submit resources or articles to be included on the platform.
