Join UNESCO’s Remote Radio Week and learn how to broadcast from home

03/11/2021

UNESCO, in partnership with WHO, launched this Monday 1 November 2021 a free online training for radio stations to develop their capacities to broadcast remotely.

In a context of continued epidemics and renewed working modalities, UNESCO Remote Radio Week provides practical suggestions and solutions for radio professionals to keep informing populations wherever they broadcast from:

  • How to maintain high professional standards when your radio offices are closed, or colleagues  telework?
  • How should you equip your home studio?
  • What has to be foreseen to maintain high professional standards?

Among its highlights, the training provides suggestions and strategies to overcome financial difficulties in media, and best practice examples that can make radio stations more resilient in emergency and crisis situations, be it epidemcis, flooding, civil unrest or other.

Featuring more than 150 international speakers, #Remote Radio Week runs until 5th November 2021 with daily language sessions in Arabic, English, French and Spanish.

Live sessions with expert advice are complemented by testimonials and Master Classes on both technical topics (Cloud or not Cloud, interviewing at distance, delivering on all listening devices, etc.) and conceptual  topics – (disinformation, gender violence, indigenous languages, reporting on  health, etc.).

Join more than 3000 participants from 60 countries worldwide. It’s not too late.
