Chloé Chimier is an Associate Programme Specialist in the IIEP Research & Development team. She works on research and training activities related to teacher management and the role of local actors in educational planning and management.

More specifically, she contributes to the design and coordination of IIEP’s research programmes on teacher management and decentralization of education. Her research includes teacher career reforms, teacher support and system leadership, the growing role of cities in educational planning, and the use and usefulness of school grants. She is also actively involved in IIEP’s online and face-to-face training offer related to her areas of expertise.

Before she joined the Research & Development team in 2015, Chloé worked on IIEP technical cooperation projects and training activities related to crisis-sensitive educational planning. She contributed to the development of vulnerability analyses, training materials and tools for crisis-sensitive planning.
