Secretary of the Governing Board

Emily Stirnemann, Secretary of IIEP’s Governing Board and Executive Officer in the Director’s Office

 With her legal training, Emily contributes to the drafting of contracts and the monitoring of the constantly evolving donor landscape, tracking shifts in IIEP’s donors funding strategies. At times, she also gives her support as project manager for large new projects.

She serves as Secretary of IIEP’s Governing Board, and all related committees.

Having joined IIEP in 2003, she served in Administration as a contract officer for 9 years before joining the Director’s office.

Prior to joining IIEP, Emily was a young professional for the European Space Agency.

Education

  • Master Degree (DEA) in International Economic Law from Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne
  • Master Degree (DESS) in International Trade Law from Paris X, Nanterre
