Mr Sisay Abera is a Programme Director at the international NGO Selam Ethiopia. He is also the General Manager of Selam Sounds Group, Selam Ethiopia’s sister company established to operate on the production, promotion and distribution of Ethiopian creative arts, specifically music and other performing art forms. He has over ten years of practical experience in different positions in governmental organizations, NGOs and business companies within the Ethiopian cultural sector. His career focuses on leading programmes and projects, as well as managing events such as music festivals, conferences, bazaars, business forums and others at the national and international levels. Mr Abera holds a bachelor’s degree in theater arts and a master’s degree in multicultural and multilingual education from Addis Ababa University.
