Hawaiian, Oceanic and Global Cultural Astronomy: Tangible and Intangible Heritage

Conference organized as a 2015 International Year of Light event.

Cultural astronomy is concerned with beliefs and practices related to the sky, including the ways in which cultures conceive of and apply notions of light. Participants consider the ways that indigenous viewpoints impact relevant scholarship.
