UNESCO Awards in Science
Awards tend to be of national or local scope and attributed to a new generation of scientists worldwide. They involve different types of recognition, such as medals, diplomas, scholarships or fellowships or distinctions at the national/subregional level in consultation with the relevant National Commissions.
