Thanks to governments and their valuable contributions, the IFCD has thus far funded around 100 projects all over the world. But we want to reach further. We want to aim higher. We want to transform societies!

1% AND COUNTING

The most extraordinary journeys all started the same way: with one step.

That’s right, just one.

That’s the inspiration behind the “Your 1 % counts for creativity” campaign, to encourage Parties to the 2005 Convention to donate at least 1% of their annual UNESCO contribution to the IFCD, thus being part of the most incredible journey of all: to improve the quality of life for all people around the world.

“We have contributed with an amount equivalent to 1% of our contribution to UNESCO’s budget, including for previous unpaid year. We hope that other countries will follow.”
