NGO Desk
A Desk for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) will be located in the heart of the public areas of the 41st session of the General Conference, on the ground floor of Fontenoy building – Pas perdus Hall, and will be open from 9 to 20 November inclusive.
The Secretariat and the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee will be available to provide participants in the General Conference - representatives of NGOs, foundations and Member States - with relevant information regarding official relations with NGOs and foundations and to facilitate non-governmental organizations’ participation in the work of the General Conference as observers.
Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in official partnership with UNESCO may be represented at the General Conference as observers.
Foundations and other similar institutions which maintain official relations with UNESCO, as well as other international non-governmental organizations may also be admitted to participate by decision of the General Conference upon recommendation of the Executive Board.
