10th UNESCO Youth Forum

The pilot format of the Forum means that this year, we’re going to be doing things a little differently.

Participants can no longer apply as individuals or be nominated as representatives of Member States.

Instead, we’ve asked our UNESCO colleagues, UN agencies and NGO partners to nominate those young women and men who are already leading innovative change in their communities, related to UNESCO’s fields of competence. Participants that meet the rigorous selection criteria will then be selected by the UNESCO Secretariat, with attention paid to ensure equal thematic, gender and regional balance.

But don’t worry! Even if you’re not selected, there will be opportunities to follow us online and take part in our broader youth consultation.
