Camila Lima De Moraes
Research Officer

Camila joined the GEM Report in April 2020 to work on the monitoring section of the Report. Previously, she was an education analyst at the Directorate for Education and Skills of the OECD, where she contributed to the flagship publication Education at a Glance. She was responsible for developing indicators related to equity in education, factors that influence education expenditure, financial returns to education and completion rates. She has also collaborated on projects that provide strategic advice to countries on the development of a monitoring framework for their national education strategies. As one of the OECD’s representatives in the technical groups responsible for developing the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) indicators, Camila contributed to the integration of the SDG4 agenda in the programme of work of the OECD’s Directorate for Education and Skills. She holds a master’s in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris and bachelor’s in Economics and Political Science from Brown University.
