Engaging communities is the cornerstone of successful CSE programmes. Depending on the context, there may be a range of values, beliefs, and comfort levels among school administrators, teachers, parents, faith leaders, and others about what should be taught to children and adolescents; who should be teaching it; and when young people should start learning about CSE. This section provides recommendations and resources for working with stakeholders to support school- and community-based CSE.
