Commitment
Since 2012, Verizon has committed up to $400 million in STEM education efforts. Our Verizon Innovative Learning program addresses barriers to digital inclusion by providing free technology, connectivity, teacher training and STEM curriculum to under-resourced middle schools in the United States. Our goal is to transform the learning experience and enable students to develop the skills, knowledge, and capabilities needed to thrive in the digital world.
During the pandemic, Verizon Innovative Learning increased the monthly data plan for students reached through the program, transitioned to a virtual platform to continue teacher training, and added new resources to support remote learning.
