World Vision is prepared to support and contribute:
• Digital play- and story-based learning content and supplementary materials for teachers and parents with ABRACADABRA (a digital collection of 33 engaging game-like activities linked to stories for early grade reading and writing, including teacher guides and parent modules) and READS (a collection of hundreds of digital stories in English, French, Swahili, and other languages to enhance reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary).
• Off-grid hardware solutions for storing digital content with Portable Access to Learning (PAL) composed of inexpensive and easily obtainable hardware, with Raspberry Pi acting as a server that can support up to 20 tablets or laptops with a variety of learning content.
• Hard-copy household learning kits and instructional materials for parents and caregivers, including play-based early learning and literacy/numeracy activity booklets.
• Networks of World Vision community-based practitioners prepared to support teachers, parents, and caregivers in distance learning and back-to-school campaigns.

These include digital play- and story-based learning content and supplementary materials for teachers and parents in contexts that can support them, off-grid hardware solutions for digital content, hard-copy household learning kits and instructional materials for parents and caregivers, and our networks of community-based practitioners prepared to support teachers, parents, and caregivers in the transition to distance learning and back-to-school campaigns.
