Capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, sector analysis, non formal education

Hélène is working in the Technical cooperation team under the institutional analysis and monitoring and evaluation cluster and coordinate capacity development projects. 

Before joining IIEP, she has been working for the past 20 years for different organizations involved in education (formal and non formal), in France and abroad, including in crisis affected countries (Kosovo, Burundi, DRC, Colombia, Sudan, Chad, Mali). Since 2013 she is lecturer at the University Paris V (introduction to education sector analysis; Monitoring and evaluation of education programs). Within the UNESCO (2010), she was in charge of providing technical backstopping to national teams in the development of their information system for the management of non formal education (NFE-MIS).

Education

Ms Bessières holds a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences (Paris V – Renée Descartes) and a degree in didactics (Paris III- Sorbonne).
