Dr. Yokozeki (Director) participated in the 43rd session of ADEA Steering Committee in Cairo from 24 to 25 November 2016.  The agenda included the evaluation of ADEA, planning for ADEA triennial in March 2017, activities carried out in 2016, and planned activities and budget for 2017.  African education ministers from Egypt, Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Senegal, Mauritius and Rwanda were present.  Agencies/donor countries present were the African Development Bank, Finland, GIZ, JICA, Norway, South Korea, UNESCO, UNICEF, and USAID.  The Mastercard Foundation was also present as a new member.
